I’m not sure why I have the sleepy face going on, I’d had my coffee! :)

Felt like wearing something simple and comfy to work on Tuesday. I’ve had this dress for a few years now and I LOVE IT. It’s so simple but versatile – easy to wear, easy to pack, easy to wash. I can dress it down with flats or sandals or dress it up with fishnets and heels. I need more pieces like this in my wardrobe.

Why, yes, this outfit DOES contain most of the elements of this week’s Accessories Wednesday! :) I picked up this dress a few weeks ago during a big Torrid sale, and I had to wait to pick up a pair of brown leggings to wear under the dress. These are actually capris that I got at Kohl’s – they are super stretchy and opaque!

I picked up this sweater poncho on my shopping trip to Armoire the other weekend. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what to think of it when I pulled it off the rack, but as soon as I put it on I fell in LUFF. I can wear it a multitude of ways – loose and open is a much more casual look, but when belted it looks like a really great blousy top! The sweater knit is really light, which is great for Louisiana winters (not too cold and able to be layered). I wore a black Niki Biki cami underneath the top.

I’m thinking I may pick up a few more ponchos or styles like this for this fall!
