The Limited’s new plus size line, Eloquii, launched their website last week – and I am thrilled to see some stylish and beautiful pieces! I’ve always liked The Limited’s selection for work clothing – stylish, well-made, and quite a few classic pieces that would transition from season to season. I’m glad to see that Eloquii has picked up the tradition, and offers pieces from size 14 to 24. They also plan on offering new items every two weeks, so there’s a constant flow of great new looks to choose from!

One of the great things I like about the site is the section that they have called “Style My Shape”. This helps women determine what items would look best on them based on their shape – Diamond, Teardrop, Heart, Infinity, and Emerald. You measure your bust, waist, and hips, and based on those measurements, you choose a body shape that closest corresponds to yours. Since my waist is smaller than my hips and bust, I ended up being the Infinity shape. Once you determine your shape, you can peruse items that the Eloquii team picked to accentuate your body – it’s almost like having a personal shopper!

I’ve looked over the site and I picked out my top ten items that I would LOVE to have in my wardrobe.

Gold Party Dress – this tops my WANT List! I have a few dresses like this, and the cut is very flattering. Wide enough straps and the back is high enough to cover a bra, too! And can I get an A-FREAKING-MEN for the pockets?!? I love pockets in dresses. The gold is festive enough for the holidays, but I think it would work in all seasons. (Dear Eloquii – if I had this dress, I would totally create an entire week of posts devoted to OOTDs for this dress. I’m totally not kidding. I want this dress SO BAD, YA’LL.) Oh, and did I mention that the ever-faboo Gabifresh looks GORGEOUS in it?

Signature 3/4 Sleeve Wrap Dress – As I’ve demonstrated before, I have a penchant for wrap dresses. I have three – one in black with 3/4 sleeves, another black one that is sleeveless, and one in dark brown (thanks to my manager, Nancy). This is offered in both this cobalt blue and charcoal – but that blue is too beautiful to pass up.

Sleeveless Pleated Dress – a pretty pleated dress? Yes please. This could easily be dressed up with a soft pashmina, sheer hose, heels, and some sparkly earrings, or dress it down for a funkier night out with a leather jacket, bold bangles, tights, and suede platforms. (Possible Accessories Wednesday appearance forthcoming!)

Split Sleeve Kimono Top – One of my major issues this season is finding really great tops to go with my new fave DKNY skinny jeans. I prefer a more blousy or tunic style with skinnies – I feel that it balances out the look. This blouse fits the bill – it’s loose and flowy, with an elastic waistband to help pull things in at the waist.

Soft Bow Blouse – I’m absolutely in love with the “pussybow” blouse (hurr), but since I’m so full busted the look doesn’t work well on me. Since this bow sits lower on the bust and is not soo poofy, I think this would look better. The colors are what drew my eye, too – that emerald green and the royal purple is simply stunning. This is a great work blouse, too – would look great with trousers and a blazer at an office!

Sequin Tank – Sparkly tank. I love sequin tanks – I have a black one from Lane Bryant that I love to wear under a blazer. This, with a cream sweater, a great pair of trouser jeans (like the ones below), and a pair of cognac suede heels, would be great for a casual work party – or date night with the husband!

JAG Wide Leg Trouser Jeans – One good pair of trouser jeans should be in every woman’s wardrobe. They’re one of the most versatile pieces – pair them with a great blouse and heels for work, or a striped top and flats for the weekend. Since I normally don’t wear very high heels, I tend to have mine hemmed so I can wear them with low wedges or flats. (I finally found a good tailor at my local dry cleaners – and I can’t tell you how much that has helped me with my wardrobe. Something a little big, or too long? Just pay a few bucks and have it altered!)

Classic Fit Lapel Jacket – a great suiting jacket is a must-have in a wardrobe. It instantly spruces up jeans and a tee, and adds polish to a pair of trousers and a blouse. This one is a classic style, with two buttons (not too high, not too low), pockets, and a pinstriped liner. It pairs with all the black suiting separates, so you can mix and match trousers, skirts, and the below dress.
\
Belted Sheath Dress – a classic style. Pair with a lightweight cardigan in the summer, a jacket in the fall, and a pullover sweater and tights in the winter.

One of the things I like most about the suiting line is the Forever Black guarantee. Eloquii guarantees that every black piece of suiting will match, no matter the style or season. This makes things a lot easier if you are only looking for one or two pieces right now, and you can buy new pieces whenever you want to switch up your look.

Feather Weight Scarf – ya’ll know my obsession with scarves. This bright red lightweight one is perfect to add a punch of color to anything – and the lightweight fabric will take you from fall to spring easily.
So that’s my WANT List for Eloquii! What about you? Is there anything you are loving on Eloquii’s site? Tell me in the comments!
